How to create a profile on mAadhaar app?

Launch the app

Tap on the Register Aadhaar tab on the top of the main dashboard.

Create a 4 digit Pin/Password

Provide valid Aadhaar & enter valid Captcha

Enter valid OTP and submit

The profile should get registered

The registered tab would now display the registered Aadhaar Name

Tap on My Aadhaar tab on the bottom menu

Enter 4-digit Pin/Password

My Aadhaar Dashboard appears

How the resident can view the profile?

The profile can be viewed by tapping on the profile summary on the top (profile image, name and Aadhaar number on the cyan tab) in the main dashboard.

Steps to access the Aadhaar profile

Launch the app

Tap on the Aadhaar Profile tab on the top at the bottom of the main dashboard

Enter 4 digit Pin/Password

The front side of the Aadhaar appears. Slide to the left to view the backside.

In order to view other added profiles, keep sliding to left

To view the Aadhaar Profile page and access the services within a tap on the My Aadhaar tab at the bottom of the Dashboard screen.

Where can m-Aadhaar be used?

mAadhaar app can be used anywhere anytime within India. mAadhaar is more than Aadhaar Card in a wallet. On one hand, the mAadhaar profile is accepted as valid ID proof by Airports and Railways on the other resident can use the features in the app to share their eKYC or QR code with service providers who sought Aadhaar verification of their customers before providing Aadhaar services.

mAadhaar App is available for both Android and iPhone users in India. In order to install the app follow the steps given below

Visit the Google Play Store for Android and to App Store for iPhone.

To make sure you are downloading the right app, check to see if the developer’s name is listed as ‘Unique Identification Authority of India’

The Income Tax Department has launched A New Facility for Taxpayers allowing anyone with an Aadhaar card to Get An Instant PAN Card online.

Instant PAN Facility

The instant e-PAN card application form required you to just input your Aadhaar Number after which an OTP will be sent on your Linked Mobile Phone Number for completion of the e-KYC process. One the KYC is complete, a Permanent Account Number (PAN) is issued instantly in just 10 minutes in PDF format to the applicant.

Note that while the e-PAN Card is as good and valid as a physical copy, you can still get a Laminated PAN Card if you want by ordering a reprint for just Rs 50.

Here's how you can apply for instant PAN Card online:

Visit The Income Tax Department's e-filing portal and click on "Instant PAN through Aadhaar" section under "Quick Links" on the left side.

Click on "Get New PAN" on the new page.

Enter your Aadhaar Number for allotment of new PAN Card and the Captcha code to generate an OTP on your Aadhaar-linked Mobile Phone.

Validate the OTP and Aadhaar details. Note that you will have an option to validate your e-Mail id as well for PAN Card application.

The e-KYC data of that Aadhaar Number is exchanged with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) after which you will be allotted an instant e-PAN.

Download your PAN in PDF Format by submitting the Aadhaar Number at "Check Status/ Download PAN". You will also get the PAN in PDF Format by your email, if your email-id is registered with Aadhaar Database.

Requirements for instant e-PAN

It is worth mentioning that the entire process is not supposed to take more than 10 minutes and it is free, easy and paperless. You are also not required to upload any document on the portal. The facility is available only to those who have never been allotted a PAN before.

In order to apply, your Mobile Phone Number must be linked to Aadhaar Number and complete date of birth in DD-MM-YYYY format should be available on the Aadhaar Card. 

This instant e-PAN card facility is not available to minors.
